Initially designed to be used as an always-on base tone for folks who want that vacuum tube grit and feel without spending that vacuum tube money, it quickly became obvious that this circuit is more than a one-trick pony.
Featuring a dead simple control set, Horse Cult's cascading JFETs take you from a light saturation with a hint of compression, through to the touch sensitive overdrive of a cranked tube amp.
With a unique tone control and more volume on hand than you're ever likely to need, this device also shines as a boost and can push your amp into its natural breakup or squeeze some extra juice out of your drive pedals.
